Precision Rifle Fundamentals for Hunters

Course Purpose:
To teach hunters the fundamental skills required to make ethical, first-round hits on game animals from 100–600 yards, emphasizing cold-bore accuracy, ballistic understanding, wind reading, and stable field shooting positions.
Hunter Season Prep Clinic

This clinic is designed specifically for hunters looking to fine-tune their rifle setup and verify performance before opening day. Includes zeroing, rifle fit check, ethical range evaluation, and a custom DOPE card.

Who We Are
Wolfshade Tactical is a precision rifle training company built on proven military doctrine and real-world shooting experience.
Our instruction is rooted in FM 3-22 (U.S. Army Rifle Marksmanship)—the same foundation used to train professional warfighters—but refined for two distinct audiences:
Hunters who want ethical, repeatable first-round hits at distance
Law Enforcement and Military shooters who require accountable, doctrinally sound precision under pressure
This is not entertainment-based training. We focus on fundamentals that hold up in the field: rifle setup, external ballistics, stable shooting positions, wind reading, and disciplined shot execution.
Wolfshade Tactical was founded by an instructor with a background in:

Our Process
Wolfshade Tactical training is built on the principles of FM 3-22 (U.S. Army Rifle Marksmanship) and focused on fundamentals, accountability, and measurable performance. We begin by validating core marksmanship skills before extending distance, ensuring stable positions, consistent recoil management, and disciplined shot execution. Students learn proper rifle setup, zero confirmation, and data validation, followed by practical instruction in ballistics and wind that emphasizes understanding and correction—not guesswork. Training is then applied based on mission: ethical, cold-bore precision for hunters, and doctrinal, standards-based execution for law enforcement and military shooters. Every course concludes with a documented evaluation, providing honest feedback and repeatable results that translate to real-world use.
